Pre-Purchase Evaluations

Pre-Purchase Evaluations (PPE) can be a key part of purchasing a horse. At Rhythm Equine, we believe that a PPE is a valuable tool to provide buyers with general health and soundness details about the horse to make an informed choice about their purchase. PPEs include a complete physical examination, a soundness evaluation, a basic neurological examination, and a full report detailing these findings. Further diagnostics are available at additional cost, if desired.

Rhythm Equine requires a buyer’s PPE request form and seller’s disclosure form to be completed before a PPE appointment is confirmed. Please contact the office to receive these forms.

Weather and footing may limit what can be reasonably assessed during a PPE at your facility. Our customer care team may ask about your facilities to determine if it is suitable for a thorough PPE. We are able to perform all necessary criteria for a PPE at our clinic which features an indoor arena.
