Regular evaluations of your equine athlete’s performance and movement are key to diagnosing small issues before they can become career-ending injuries.

A performance or lameness exam involves a thorough movement exam with joint flexions, and a comprehensive musculoskeletal evaluation. Following this initial inspection, we can provide a range of diagnostics to further determine the best course of treatment and rehabilitation:

Under Saddle Examination and Ridden Behaviour Assessment

Assessing the biomechanics and behavioural signs for lameness of the horse while being ridden.

Nerve and Joint Blocks

The injection of a localized anaesthetic around the nerves, joint, tendon, or ligament to remove pain below the injection site and see if the lameness improves.

Digital Radiography

View radiographs on site, and receive a full radiograph report emailed at your request.

Ultrasound

View ultrasounds on site and receive a full ultrasound report emailed at your request.
